The Carol Burnett Show: Your Favorite Sketches
Join the Saline Area Players for a nostalgic look back to the days of The Carol Burnett Show. Experience the humor and creativity of the good old days of comedy sketches, under the direction of Tami Hindes.
The show will be performed at Stone Arch Arts and Events at 8:00 PM on March 8 & 9 and 2:00 PM on March 10 & 11. A special dinner theater performance will be at 7:00 PM on March 10.
RUDOLPH THE RED-NOSED REINDEER

The Saline Area Players are happy to launch this original production of Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer directed by Kara Cardella with assistance by Patti Ringe and musical coaching by Robert Cindric.

Seating: General Admission
Reserve online: Tickets can be reserved up until 24 hours before the beginning of the performance. Email tickets@salineareaplayers.org and indicate the date and time you wish to attend, and the number of tickets you need in each category. If you are requesting an "immediate family" ticket (which generally means parents and their children), please indicate how many people are in your immediate family group. Tickets will be reserved for you at the door and held until 15 minutes before showtime. We will accept cash or check.

Cast: The cast includes Rudolph who is played by Abby Wilson, Santa and Mrs. Claus played by Leo and Barbara Babcock, and Blitzen and Mistletoe (Rudolph's parents) played by Jesse Ray and Jordan Louise Bauman. Krissa Rumsey's character narrates. Other cast include: Linus Babcock, Natalie Bauman, Hannah Burkhart, Mallory Castor, Claire Endres, Ben Faulkner, Adelaide Gregor, Arianna Gregor, Benedict Gregor, John Paul Gregor, Madeline Gregor, Maurita Gregor, Sammie Giannotti, Lauren Getsov, Rich Hamann, Tommy Hamann, Alex Jasman, Adair Jost, Giselle Jost, Mackenna Kofahl, Maggie McCormick, Natalie McQuade, Daniel Muzzi, Stephen Muzzi, Miranda Patterson, Ben Walsworth Purkiss, Maria Ray, Ella Rumsey, Josie Rumsey, Cezanne Smith, Marlowe Smith, and Lizzie Thomas.
Synopsis: The story is based on the famous song by the same name, and includes favorite characters like Rudolph, Santa and Mrs. Claus, reindeer and elves, plus some new characters. The story highlights the growing years of Rudolph, the reindeer that was born with a shiny nose and later goes on to lead Santa's sleigh. It is a family event filled with humor, a lovely message about celebrating our differences, and familiar music. Be prepared for some fun audience interaction. In addition, SAP will be supporting Toys for Tots by having a collection box at the play for those who want to donate new toys for kids.

Show dates and times: 7:00 PM on Friday, September 23, 4:30 & 7:00 PM on Saturday, September 24, and 2:00 & 4:30 on Sunday, September 25.
Location: Rentschler Farm, 1265 E Michigan Avenue, Saline, MI 48176. The show will be held in the barn on the property. Dress for the weather as there is no heating or cooling system - bring a blanket if needed. There is a restroom on the property. Patrons are encouraged to contact us ahead of time if they have special seating needs. The show will be approximately 45 minutes in length.

A perfect play for the whole family, this delightful show is a British panto version of Jack and the Beanstalk, full of audience interaction and silliness. Be prepared to laugh with the characters, and watch sound effects be made in front of your eyes.

THE SOUND OF MUSIC
The Saline Area Players are delighted to announce their presentation of The Sound of Music by Richard Rodgers and Oscar Hammerstein II with artistic direction by Carrie Jay Sayer and musical direction by Robert Cindric. This wonderful musical will be shown at 7:00 PM March 25, 2:00 & 7:00 PM on March 26, and 2:00 PM on March 27 at the Ellen Ewing Performing Arts Center in the Saline High School, 1300 Campus Parkway, Saline MI 48176.
The Saline Area Players announce their production of How the Grinch Stole Christmas which will be performed on December 2 & 3 at 7:00 p.m. and December 4 & 5 at 1:00 & 3:30 p.m. at the Stone Arch Arts and Events Center, 117 S. How the Grinch Stole Christmas is an original adaptation written and directed by Kara Cardella. Be prepared for cameo appearances by The Cat-in-the-Hat, Horton and other favorite Seuss characters. Also included will be a clever rendering of "The Night Before Christmas." This show, which promises to be a delight for people of all ages, will be performed in collaboration with the Saline Area Chamber of Commerce during the Saline holiday parade weekend festivities. In addition, SAP will be supporting Toys for Tots by having a collection box at the play.

This psychological drama is a thinking person's Gothic thriller, a dark comedy that is both funny and frightening. On a snowy night Inspector Ruffing (Kyle Newmeyer) is called to a remote house to investigate the headlong plunge of Patrick Roarke down the main staircase. He becomes involved in the lives of five alluring and dangerous woman, including Mrs. Ravenscroft (Elizabeth Atkinson), the lady of the manor, her teenage daughter Gillian (Lauren Branch), the governess Marcy (Halla Motawi), the cook Mrs. French (Kaarina Quinnell), and the maid Dolly (Susan Toth Bernard). They lead him through a bewildering labyrinth of contradictory versions of Patrick's demise and that of the late Mr. Ravenscroft.
It's the perfect show to watch during the Halloween season!!!
